Job Title: Postal Operations Specialist

Synopsis: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Postal Operations Specialist. This position involves managing the daily operations of our mailroom, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Mail Distribution: Distribute mail to the appropriate recipients or departments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail, as well as count and record inventory items.
  • Supply Management: Ensure adequate supplies of mailroom materials, including post office forms.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry activities to support the smooth operation of the mailroom.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience in military APO, Fleet Post Office (FPO), or USPS operations preferred.
  • Certifications: Secret Clearance is required. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Environment: The Postal Operations Specialist will work in an environment with extreme temperatures, dust, and hazardous conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs is required.
