Job Description

The Financial Operations Specialist is responsible for accurately posting payments to accounts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring all financial records are updated and accurate. This role involves reconciliation of client accounts to ensure payments are correctly applied.

Maintaining accurate records of credits, discounts, and collection activities is also a key responsibility. The successful candidate will be managing and overseeing billing processes to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

Excellent communication skills are required to address client inquiries regarding their accounts professionally. Reporting on collection outcomes and working closely with the Treasury Manager are also essential duties.

The Financial Operations Specialist will support the finance team during month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing reports for the Treasury Manager is a critical aspect of this role.

Compliance with company policies and financial regulations is necessary to ensure the smooth operation of financial functions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate billings and collections. Experience dealing with accounts receivable and customer aging reports is also required.

A high level of computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and accounting software, is essential. Proficiency in Oracle or Dynamics 365 is a priority.
