System Administrator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and be proficient in managing complex systems.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of our network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and encryption devices.

Main Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain the reliability and availability of our LAN/WAN network.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and provide technical support for VoIP networks.
• Ensure that all network security procedures are enforced, including DISA STIG compliance.
• Collaborate with other teams to plan network development and expansion.

Qualifications:
• Associate Degree in Information Technology (IT) or related field preferred.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• One-year related experience may substitute for one year of education.
• Must adhere to DoD 8570.01M, maintaining at least one baseline and one CE certification from approved lists (e.g., CCNA Security, CISSP, Security+).
