The Systems Administrator II is responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of site-level servers. The candidate must coordinate system backups, hardware and software installations, and system upgrades. The role requires establishing work schedules, maintaining discipline, and training subordinates. Program: OMDAC-SWACA

All applicants must satisfy host country requirements to be legally eligible to work.

Responsibilities
  1. Operate and maintain server administration including Microsoft 2008 Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, print queues, etc.
  2. Administer Exchange servers (2008 or higher) and Outlook Web Access (OWA).
  3. Manage Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS), MOM/SCOM, SCCM, and WSUS.
  4. Use VERITAS Backup Exec for file server backups and restores.
  5. Maintain system availability and perform regular equipment maintenance.
  6. Troubleshoot hardware issues on Dell, HP, LTO tape library, fiber switches, SANs.
  7. Ensure antivirus and security compliance per US Army standards.
  8. Maintain user and Exchange accounts as needed.
  9. Establish shift schedules.
  10. Conduct employee appraisals and training, following Vectrus Leadership guidelines.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field; relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • Adherence to DoD 8570.01M baseline certification requirements, including at least one IAT Level certification and one CE certification, from the listed options.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience with Windows Server 2012 or higher and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of security principles in an enterprise environment.
