Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ADPE Technician to join our team at Vectrus. As an ADPE Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical software, hardware, and network problem resolution to all computer users in a service center environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply understanding and knowledge of information systems products and services to provide technical software, hardware, and network problem resolution to all computer users.
  • Diagnose and resolve first-level information systems problems and coordinate referrals to appropriate technical, professional, or service personnel for appropriate service, repairs, training, and follow-up.
  • Maintain, operate, and upgrade all Automation Data Processing Equipment (ADPE), currently consisting of servers, PC systems, laptops, printers, DSN phones, and small peripheral items.
  • Support analysis, design, testing, and implementation of systems and networks.
  • Provide initial evaluation and recommendation to users who submitted trouble tickets within 3 working days of receipt of items.
Requirements
  • Minimum Qualifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Secret Clearance.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and host nation Driver's License, is required.
  • Meets requirements outlined in AR 25-2 for privileged access (IAT-I) to ISs.
  • Comp TIA Security+ and A+, Microsoft 365 Certified Modern Desktop Administrator or Server+ is required IAW DoD 8570.1-M.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Five or more years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated strong Help Desk support operations experience.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated experience handling technical and sensitive situations.
Working Conditions

The ADPE Technician must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The ADPE Technician must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and to stand for long periods of time.
