Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

The IT Helpdesk Officer plays a vital role in maintaining a productive work environment by ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and delivering excellent customer service.


This position serves as the first point of contact for end-users experiencing technical issues, providing efficient and effective support for hardware, software, and network-related problems.


We are seeking a skilled professional to provide first-line technical support, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, and assist users with basic network connectivity problems.


The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, macOS), as well as excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.


You will be responsible for:

  • Responding to user inquiries and support requests via various channels.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Assisting users with basic network connectivity problems.
  • Providing support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Assisting with software installations, configurations, and updates.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an IT Help Desk or technical support role.
  • Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, macOS).
  • Basic networking knowledge.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with help desk ticketing systems.

Apart from technical skills, we expect you to possess strong communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and provide excellent customer service.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to maintain accurate records, document troubleshooting steps and solutions, and contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT documentation.
