Drilling Operations Manager

As a key member of the drilling operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating wellsite operations to ensure safe and efficient completion of drilling programs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading pre-job safety and operations meetings to discuss project objectives and potential risks.
  • Coordinating daily planning meetings with tool pusher, segment, and third-party supervisors to review operations and anticipate resource requirements.
  • Developing and implementing contingency plans at the rig site to mitigate risks and minimize downtime.
  • Ensuring compliance with approved well operations programs, regulatory requirements, and company policies/procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in oilfield drilling, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A minimum of 10 years of seniority in relevant positions is required, with high HSE awareness and commitment to quality. The successful candidate will also have experience in mentoring junior staff members and demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude towards their work.
