Job Summary
The Drilling Operations Specialist will assist the Wellsite Leader in the supervision of well programs. This role involves building on training and on-the-job exposure while developing skills related to becoming a wellsite leader.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Wellsite Leader in ensuring safe working practices are followed.
- Participate in pre-job safety and operations meetings related to well operations.
- Attend daily planning meetings and discuss operations with the toolpusher, segment, and third-party supervisors.
- Maintain a look-ahead planner to anticipate resource requirements.
- Check that equipment and services comply with contractual agreements.
- Manage inventory of tangible items and rental equipment.
