We are seeking a highly skilled Drilling Operations Specialist to lead our deep drilling operations in Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Direct and control all operational functions of the rig, including drilling, movement, and maintenance.
  • Safety Assurance: Ensure that drilling operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Crew Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of rig crew members to maintain a high level of productivity and safety.
  • Equipment Management: Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper functionality and reduce downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during drilling operations.
  • Leadership and Communication: Foster a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols and procedures. Serve as the primary liaison between the rig crew and the Rig Manager, ensuring effective communication and coordination of operations.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical or vocational training in drilling operations is preferred.
  • Experience: Experience of 3+ years as a Senior Toolpusher with mandatory experience in 2500HP and above in deep drilling operations.
  • Certifications: Valid Well Control Certification (IWCF or IADC). Safety training certifications (e.g., H2S, First Aid, Firefighting).
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
