Job Title: Shop Manager II

Job Purpose: The Shop Manager II is responsible for overseeing store operations to deliver exceptional customer service, maximize sales, and ensure profitability in line with company objectives.



Responsibilities:




  • Customer Focus: Detect and report on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities impacting the region or market. Provide excellent customer service, addressing their needs and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Store Operations: Manage inventory, maintenance, and ensure the shop's external appearance meets brand standards. Ensure store licenses and certificates are up to date, and employees' official documents are valid and compliant with local regulations.
  • Sales and Performance: Analyze sales performance, monitor top-selling items, identify missing sizes and items, and manage collection rotation in coordination with stakeholders. Place accurate orders, meet stock performance objectives, and maximize sales and sell-out.
  • Team Management: Prepare staff schedules based on budgeted hours, visitor traffic, daily sales targets, events, and operational needs. Ensure effective communication of sales plans and set daily and hourly targets for the shop/department team.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Log and update commercial and operational information, and manage the annual allocated budget by monitoring expenditures within set limits, optimizing and reducing costs where possible, and reporting variances against the budget.
  • Brand Image: Oversee the shop's image and ensure compliance with brand standards. Verify and follow up on the cleanliness, display, and maintenance of the shop, including windows, cash registers, and stock rooms.
  • Talent Development: Recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate the team to ensure the necessary skill base and optimal motivation to maximize their potential and contribution to the company.
  • Communication: Conduct daily team meetings to keep the staff informed and engaged.


Requirements:




  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Four to six years of experience in Retail or a similar role, with two years in a managerial position.
