This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage the flow of information between different departments and ensure that all logistical operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • The Logistics Information System specialist will be responsible for generating supply/maintenance transactions into the Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A) according to established protocols and procedures.

  • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services performed, including work orders, notifications, and other relevant documents.

  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for participating in scheduled and unscheduled inventories and surveys, as well as reviewing and validating document register reconciliations.

  • Additionally, you will generate GCSS-A reports as required, follow up on weekly transaction reports, and prepare forms to be digitally sent.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of one year of functional GCSS-A experience.

  • You must possess comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as attention to detail in workflow and filing organization activities.

  • You should have advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, as well as strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with others effectively.
