Last Mile Operations Trainer Role

At our company, we are seeking an experienced professional to shape the efficiency, safety, and customer service standards of our delivery network. As a Last Mile Operations Trainer, you will play a critical role in onboarding and coaching our delivery riders to ensure smooth, safe, and customer-focused deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver structured training programs to both new and existing delivery riders.
  • Train riders on the use of company applications, routing systems, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Educate riders on road safety, traffic laws, and proper goods handling.
  • Ensure riders understand and follow customer service protocols.
  • Conduct regular refresher training to boost rider performance and compliance.
  • Evaluate training outcomes through assessments and field ride-along.
  • Monitor on-ground rider performance and provide actionable feedback and coaching.
  • Support the onboarding, documentation, and orientation process for new riders.
  • Maintain accurate training attendance records and performance data.
  • Collaborate with operations, HR, and safety teams to continuously improve delivery efficiency and rider performance.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a trainer, or in last-mile delivery or logistics operations.
  • Strong knowledge of delivery procedures, safety practices, and customer service expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse rider groups.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate individuals effectively.
  • Familiarity with mobile delivery applications and basic troubleshooting.
  • Good command of local language(s) and/or English.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for record-keeping and follow-up.
