Job Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the management of all IT infrastructure within Kuwait, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication with stakeholders.

  • To manage and maintain a network of PCs, servers, and equipment located in Kuwait.
  • Liaise with service providers and IT teams to facilitate communication lines and system setup.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and solutions to meet business objectives and expectations.
  • Implement LAN infrastructure and CBK-related projects, including planning, designing, implementing, upgrading, and supporting.
  • Serve as the point of contact for escalated matters, ensuring proper resolution with agreement from both business and technology teams.
  • Coordinate application support, installation, and configuration with the Global IT Team.
  • Support domain desktop devices, including printers and scanners.
  • Perform regular desktop patching, vulnerability management, and domain server support.
  • Ensure physical desktop/server readiness and inventory management, including support for non-domain servers.
  • Conduct security operations, including firewall, antivirus, ACL, and voice support.
  • Adhere to information security and ISPM policy guidelines.
  • Manage the DR site, ensuring it remains operational, and plan/execute BCP drills as scheduled.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Align business and technology needs, including recommendations and communication.
  • Coordinate with vendors to achieve timely project completion and resolve issues, focusing on CBK guidelines and requirements.
  • Resolve daily issues promptly.
  • Oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring completion within agreed timeframes.
  • Prioritize and communicate project realignments accordingly.
  • Maintain regular interaction with technology teams.
  • Enforce SLA adherence and compliance.
  • Ensure regulatory and audit compliance for the Kuwait Branch.
  • Understand security architecture, practices, and procedures.
  • Develop local IS requirements and communicate with HO.
  • Track IT assessment reports and collaborate with technology teams for closure.
  • Recommend improvements to IS practices and procedures in the country.
  • Manage information security incidents in coordination with HO.
  • Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory.
  • Control access to sensitive areas according to policy.
