Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing cloud resources, with expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and familiarity with other major cloud providers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining the cloud infrastructure, planning for future expansion, and ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of our FinTech platform.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Management: Administer and maintain the cloud infrastructure, monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency and performance.
  • Kubernetes and Microservices: Manage the deployment, scaling, and maintenance of microservices hosted in Kubernetes clusters, implement best practices for fault tolerance, load balancing, and scaling strategies.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain in-premises disaster recovery solutions, implement backup and data recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive financial data, ensure compliance with financial regulations in all operational countries.
  • Multi-Cloud Strategy: Plan and execute the expansion to multiple cloud providers, maintain a multi-cloud strategy to enhance redundancy and scalability.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based services, work with external partners to facilitate transactions.
  • Documentation and Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure and procedures, train and support team members in effectively managing cloud resources.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Implement observability tools to monitor the health and performance of cloud services, continuously optimize cloud resources and costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure, with expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and familiarity with other major cloud providers.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and microservices deployment.
  • Experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
  • In-depth understanding of security and compliance in the financial industry.
  • Experience with multi-cloud strategies and cloud expansion.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
