Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join our team. This role involves selling products to achieve sales targets in terms of quantity and value while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance: Responsible for achieving individual sales targets (unit sales, revenue, and gross profit).
  • Market Leadership: Execute agreed business plan to ensure the company achieves its sales and market share targets.
  • CUSTOMER SATISFACTION: Develop a good knowledge of customers' needs and buying behaviors to support customers and provide them with the appropriate solution.
  • Customer Relationships: Attend to customer concerns/problems and ensure they are resolved amicably, in a timely, and professional manner. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all customers.
  • Create Product Awareness: Create product awareness and arrange/conduct customer presentations and product demonstrations to improve sales opportunities and deals closure.
  • Competitor Insight: Keep updated on competitors' activities and provides timely feedback to Manager to support development of marketing strategy.
  • Product Brand & Image: Promote and conduct business in a professional manner to protect the integrity of Caterpillar brand and Al-Bahar image.
  • Business Planning & Budgeting: Develop with sales manager an individual sales plan (unit sales, revenue, gross profit, participation, closure, etc.).
  • Objective Settings and Achievements: Support execution and achievements of department objectives and action plans.
  • Operational Excellence-Sales Operations: Use the CRM system to create/manage activities, business opportunities, as per CRM business rules and conventions. Ensure the quality and timeliness of quoting, invoicing, and product delivery.
  • Sell Integrated Solutions: Sell Integrated Solutions (New product Plus CSAs, Options, etc.) and meet targets.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Communicate well with peers and other employees and develop strong synergy with Product Support and Service employees. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss plans, progress, and market opportunities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering;
  • 2-3 years relevant experience in Material Handling is mandatory. CAT dealership experience will be preferred.
