Signage and Kiosk Production Manager

This is a leadership role that oversees the manufacturing of signage, kiosks, and retail displays. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in custom fabrication, material usage, and team supervision.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing end-to-end production of signage (3D, digital, indoor/outdoor) and custom kiosk booths, planning and scheduling daily production workflows to meet deadlines, supervising workshop staff including fabricators, carpenters, electricians, and painters, reviewing technical drawings and fabrication specifications to ensure accuracy, coordinating with design, procurement, and installation teams for smooth project execution, maintaining inventory of raw materials such as acrylic, MDF, aluminum, vinyl, etc., ensuring all outputs meet quality standards and client specifications, troubleshooting production issues and implementing continuous improvement measures, monitoring and managing machine utilization (laser cutters, CNC, printers, etc.), ensuring health, safety, and cleanliness standards are followed in the workshop, tracking labor productivity, minimizing waste, and controlling material usage, preparing production reports and updates for senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the production of signage, kiosks, and retail displays from start to finish.
  • Supervise a team of fabricators, carpenters, electricians, and painters.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain inventory of raw materials and ensure quality control.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement continuous improvement measures.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in signage or kiosk/retail/fitout manufacturing.
  • Proven background managing custom fabrication jobs with varying complexities.
  • Solid knowledge of materials (acrylic, aluminum, MDF, vinyl, LED modules, etc.).
  • Understanding of technical drawings, shop drawings, and CNC/Laser programming.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with production software, Excel, and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Desirable Experience:
  • Signboard fabrication (2D & 3D signs)
  • Kiosk or retail booth manufacturing
  • Acrylic bending, router cutting, and spray painting
  • Handling mall or retail chain display projects
