Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Director to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing timelines, resources, and budgets while ensuring quality standards and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective Resource Management: You will manage resources effectively within schedule constraints, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Quality Control: Oversee quality control procedures and address any issues promptly to maintain the highest level of quality.
  • Technical Coordination: Coordinate with the technical team to resolve design concerns and ensure that projects meet regulatory requirements.
  • Clients Communication: Communicate with clients regularly, manage their expectations, and ensure that they are satisfied with the project progress.
  • Project Scheduling: Develop and monitor project schedules, addressing delays promptly to maintain momentum.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks to maintain momentum and ensure successful project completion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure that projects are completed successfully.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets and implement cost control measures to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
  • Safety and Compliance: Promote a safe working environment and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation and generate reports to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in Project Management Software: Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
    • Leadership and Decision-Making Skills: Strong leadership and decision-making skills to lead project teams and make informed decisions.
    • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of Construction Processes: Knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards to ensure compliance and successful project completion.
    • Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
    • Reporting Skills: Strong reporting skills to generate accurate and informative reports to track project progress.

      Education and Experience:

      • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
      • Work Experience: Minimum ten years of experience, with at least five years managing projects ranging from $5 M to $10 M.
      • Certification: PMP certification or equivalent credentials are a plus.
