Job Description

The primary goal of this role is to provide assistance in the administration of the annual reward review and promotion reviews to ensure alignment with approved parameters and budget.

About the Function

An up-to-date library of job descriptions is essential in this function. Regular reviews ensure that job descriptions remain relevant and reflective of the organization's operational and structural changes.

Main Tasks
  • Reward Review Cycle: Providing support in the annual reward review and promotion reviews to ensure alignment with approved parameters and budget.
  • Job Descriptions: Maintaining a library of job descriptions and conducting regular reviews to ensure relevance.
  • Job Evaluation: Carrying out the job evaluation system and process to ensure timely evaluation of all new/changed positions as well as creation of job evaluation factors internal benchmark across the bank.
  • Job Analysis & Design: Ensuring all jobs bank-wide have been analyzed and sent to the job evaluation panel to determine job grades across the organization.
  • Data Analysis: Driving comprehensive data analysis for any set objective and ensuring effective results (e.g., allowance/benefits reviews, etc.).
  • Compensation Surveys: Assisting in conducting compensation surveys to determine external market competitiveness, pay practices, pricing trends, and best practices in compensation benchmarking within local markets.
  • Communication: Coordinating communication of compensation and benefits information to employees and other HR groups.
  • Reports: Preparing data for compensation and benefits analysis and checking the quality of data. Cleaning reported data when and as required.

  • Ensuring adherence to CBK regulations, Bank's policies and procedures, and work standards.
  • Awareness of Risk Policies, AML and control regulations as well as compliance to operational procedures and instructions.
