Government Liaison Manager

We are seeking an experienced Government Liaison Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local government bodies and regulatory agencies in Kuwait.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to establish strong working relationships with local government bodies and regulatory agencies.
  • Navigating local regulatory frameworks, including transportation, health, food safety, and labor laws.
  • Serving as the primary liaison between us and relevant authorities to facilitate business operations and approvals.
  • Ensuring all compliance processes are properly documented and followed, from licensing to rider health certifications.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in government relations, regulatory affairs, or similar roles.
  • Experience working with local authorities, particularly in sectors such as transportation, food safety, or health regulations in Kuwait, is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Kuwaiti delivery industry and its regulatory landscape is a strong plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Kuwait's labor, transportation, and food safety laws.
