Prior to assuming this role, it is essential to coordinate with the Head of Department in the Legal Department for all tasks and work.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Corporate Governance: Corporate records, including articles of incorporation, minutes of board meetings, MOC & KSE related documentations, and records of shares must be maintained and updated. The role involves advising the board and senior management on corporate governance best practices and compliance issues.
  2. Legal Compliance: This position requires monitoring changes in laws and regulations relevant to operations and ensuring compliance. Assistance is also provided in drafting, reviewing, and updating contracts, agreements, and legal documents. Liaising with external counsel when necessary is a key aspect of this role.
  3. IPO Support: Preparation for an initial public offering involves assisting in drafting IPO documents, structuring securities, conducting due diligence, and obtaining regulatory approvals.
  4. Compliance Monitoring and Investigations: Ongoing compliance with established policies and regulations is ensured by this role. Violations are investigated, and appropriate actions are taken to rectify the situation and prevent future breaches.
  5. Legal Advice and Counsel: Providing legal advice and guidance to management and departments on various legal matters, including contracts, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and litigation, is a crucial responsibility.
  6. Risk Identification and Management: Identifying potential legal risks and developing strategies to manage and mitigate these risks, staying up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company, is a key function of this role.
  7. Contract Management: Creating and managing legal contracts and correspondence on behalf of the company, involving contract negotiations, risk analysis, and ensuring parties fulfill obligations, is a key aspect of this position.
  8. Legal Advice to Senior Management: Providing legal advice and guidance to senior management on strategic decisions, risk assessment, and compliance matters is an essential responsibility.
  9. Manage and Coordinate Legal Tasks: Overseeing and managing various legal tasks and activities within the company, liaising with internal and external stakeholders involved in legal matters, is a critical function of this role.
  10. Policy and Procedure Development: Developing corporate policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, guiding the company's actions and decisions, is a key responsibility.
  11. Corporate Communication: Preparing and distributing internal communications related to legal and compliance matters, ensuring employees are aware of and adhere to policies, is an essential task.
  12. Client Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly, is a key aspect of this role.
  13. Case Management: Assisting in organizing and managing legal cases, maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and coordinating with other team members and external parties is a critical function of this role.
  14. Administrative Support: Managing and organizing legal documents and files, ensuring accessibility and confidentiality, and acting as a liaison between the legal department, other departments, and external stakeholders, assisting with regulatory filings and reports, is an essential responsibility.
  15. Other Duties: Performing any additional work requested by direct manager related to the company's business and interest is also part of this role.
