Job Title – PRO / Government Relations Officer

The PRO / Government Relations Officer will be responsible for managing all government-related processes, ensuring compliance with Kuwait 's legal requirements, and acting as the liaison between the company and governmental bodies. This includes handling visa applications, residency permits, renewals, and all related documentation processes, as well as establishing and maintaining effective relationships with government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arabic Proficiency Mandatory
  • Manage and oversee the complete visa and residency process for employees, including obtaining and renewing work visas, residency permits, and other legal documentation required by the Kuwait government.
  • Liaise with relevant government entities such as the Ministry of Interior (MOI), Ministry of Administrative Development, Ministry of Finance, Manpower and the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce & Industry to ensure smooth processing of documents.
  • New company formation : company Registering with the appropriate authorities, obtaining necessary licenses and approval.
  • Handle all related legal documentation processes for employees, including the preparation and submission of required paperwork, applications, and permits in accordance with Kuwait labor laws.
  • Ensure compliance with all Kuwait regulations and government requirements, particularly related to immigration, labor, and company licenses.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on matters related to government regulations, labor laws, and procedures, ensuring the company is always in full compliance.
  • Monitor and track the expiration of visas, work permits, and other legal documents, initiating the renewal process ahead of deadlines to prevent any issues.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of employee immigration and legal documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key government officials and agencies to facilitate quick resolution of any issues.
  • Attend and represent the company in governmental meetings, submissions, and hearings when required.
