Key Responsibilities

Government Relations & Policy Engagement

  1. Build and maintain relationships with local government and regulatory bodies to foster long-term collaboration;
  2. Monitor regional policy changes, assess potential business impacts, and provide actionable recommendations;
  3. Support company participation in government-led initiatives to enhance public reputation.

Compliance & Risk Management

  1. Ensure business operations comply with regional laws and regulations; coordinate to resolve compliance issues;
  2. Assist in managing emergencies or sensitive matters to mitigate business risks.

Localization Support

  1. Provide government affairs insights to business strategies, aligning with regional culture and commercial practices;
  2. Facilitate critical processes such as licenses, permits, and approvals.

Public Affairs Collaboration

  1. Contribute to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and brand localization efforts;
  2. Collaborate with internal and external teams to maintain a positive corporate image.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher; relevant academic background preferred;
  2. Several years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or related fields; experience in internet or multinational companies is a plus;
  3. Proficiency in local language(s) and English; familiarity with regional business culture and communication norms.

Core Competencies

  1. Understanding of regional political and economic landscape, with policy sensitivity and resource coordination skills;
  2. Ability to navigate complex issues, cross-functional collaboration, and crisis management;
  3. Capability to build connections with key institutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Prior experience in regional market entry for foreign enterprises is advantageous;
  2. Familiarity with regional political and business ecosystems preferred.
