About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Duty Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-pressure situations, prioritizing workload and ensuring seamless hotel operations. They will also be responsible for developing their team's skills, fostering a culture of excellence and driving results that positively impact hotel performance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage guest experiences, team performance, and hotel operations with ease and efficiency
  • Prioritize workload to ensure delivery of authentic and memorable experiences
  • Develop and mentor team members to drive results and improve hotel performance
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues through effective communication and problem-solving
  • Be the first point of contact for critical emergency situations, remaining calm and composed under pressure

Requirements:

  • A minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • At least 2 years' experience as a front desk or guest service leader
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, with Arabic being a requirement; other languages may be beneficial
  • Basic mathematics skills and excellent communication, problem-solving, reasoning, and motivational abilities
  • Ability to work long periods standing at the front desk and occasional lifting of heavy items
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems like Opera would be an advantage
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, including occasional overtime
