Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Development Lead to join our team at Ooredoo Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing government entities, identifying opportunities for business growth and partnership development.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' requirements and pain points, providing tailored solutions that address their challenges and align with their objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure business deals with government accounts, utilizing networking and relationship-building skills to expand the client base and increase market penetration.
  • Lead the RFP process from initiation to submission, ensuring timely and accurate responses, and collaborating with internal teams to gather relevant information and develop comprehensive proposals that meet client requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote Ooredoo Kuwait's products and services and identify new business opportunities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in strategic business development, with a focus on government account management and partnership development.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, including emerging technologies and best practices in B2B sales.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and government regulations to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop innovative sales strategies and solutions.
