Job Description:

Contract Administrator Role

This is a highly skilled Contract Administrator role that requires strong contract management and administration skills. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, commercial contract law, and the procurement process.

The key responsibilities of this role include managing contracts from preparation to close-out, reviewing and negotiating contract terms, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong understanding of contract administration processes and principles.

Beyond technical expertise, the successful candidate will also need to demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this Contract Administrator role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of contract law, including contractual terms and conditions;
  • Excellent understanding of the procurement process, from bid invitation preparation to contract close-out;
  • Proven experience in contract administration, including negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools;
  • Chartered status (MRICS) or equivalent professional qualification preferred;
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science;
