Contracts Specialist

The Contracts Specialist manages the preparation, review, negotiation, and administration of contracts with clients and partners, ensuring terms are clear, risks are mitigated, and obligations are aligned with company policies and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Summarize RFPs and obtain support from other divisions to complete proposal requirements. and deliver the information needed to the technical writing team to produce a proposal.
- Manage Subcontracts records and provide monthly reports.
- Contributes to the development of the proposal plan, and coordinating the leads priory identified and qualified by the business development team.
- Supervise the cost control, planning management and document control activities for any project, ensuring that the relevant processes, tools and reports are adequate to provide effective controls of project status.
- Coordinate with accounts to ensure invoices are raised in a timely manner.
- Develop risk management controls, systems and contingency plans.
- Ensure Compliance with policies and procedures as applicable.
- Provide support on all financial and contractual matters during the project phase.
- Make sure that all cost and quantity records are streamlined and kept in order.
- Ensure completeness and validity of all contractual requirements.
- Provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation, and implementation.
- Implement policies and procedures for contract management.
- Maintain contractual records to s upport internal auditing when situation demands.
- Manage key relationships between the Company and its customers, suppliers and employees.
- Assist with negotiate contracts with customers, subcontractors and other parties when required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Min 5 years' experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation
- Familiar with US DOD contracts and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of contract regulations and commercial terms
- Skilled in MS Office; ERP/ MS Dynamic is a plus
- Excellent communication, detail orientation, and negotiation skills
