Point for Exhibition and Event Services was established in 2018 and is known for its creativity and business success in organizing and managing exhibitions, conferences, and various events. Based in Kuwait City, our qualified technical staff provides comprehensive services, including design, printing, installation, and equipment rental. During the COVID-19 period, we expanded our services to include POS payment facilities for temporary exhibitions and retail stores in collaboration with local banks. Additionally, we offer a website and smartphone app for e-marketing cards, digital games, and international top-up services across more than 170 countries.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Accountant located in Kuwait City. The Head Accountant will be responsible for managing the accounts department, overseeing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Daily tasks include budgeting, financial forecasting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and collaborating with other departments to ensure financial efficacy. The Head Accountant will also play a pivotal role in financial planning and analysis for the company.

Qualifications

  • Strong accounting and financial management skills including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting
  • Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or other relevant certification is a plus
  • Previous experience in the events or exhibitions industry is advantageous
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
