We are seeking experienced F-18 Pilots to provide Contractor Instructor Pilot Services to the Kuwait Air Force and have several openings located at Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide flight, simulator, and academic instruction to pilots in F/A-18 aircraft.
  • Conduct familiarization, qualification, upgrade, standardization, flight, and ground instruction in support of a range of courses.
  • Maintain aircrew training materials and courseware.
  • Assist operations and training staff in development of aircrew instructional material, evaluation criteria, and standardization of processes. Establish training standards and qualifications.
  • Assist in building briefings to support continuation training.
  • Deploy to other sites in and out of the country to support syllabus training.
  • Job requires completion of appropriate KAF F/A-18 requalification training if not current in the aircraft, and graduation from the KAF Instructor under Training syllabus.
  • Job requires compliance with NATOPs 3710.7U standards including recurring swim physiology and hypoxia training. Must meet F/A-18 NATOPS/OPNAVINST 3710.7U (section 8.3.2.18) Anthropometric Requirements for duty in an ejection seat aircraft.

Requirements:

  • Pilot wings attained through a US Navy, Marine Corps, USAF or other approved undergraduate pilot training program.
  • US Navy or Marine Corps F/A-18 qualification training or other approved fighter program.
  • Minimum of 800 hours Pilot-In-Command and/or Instructor Pilot time in the F/A-18 aircraft or other approved fighter aircraft.
  • Experience flying the F/A-18 aircraft or other approved fighter aircraft.
  • Active US Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to obtain a work visa.
