Become part of a team with proven experience to maintain a large network that is critical to the DoD's mission. We are currently seeking a unique individual with supply chain skills to assist in our enterprise procurement processes.
Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain Property Book and databases for inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excess, moved, or in transit. Prepare reports on logistics performance measures.
  2. Shipping/receiving/coordination of national and international shipments, including wrapping, forms creation, tracking, scheduling appointments, pickups, and drop-offs.
  3. Inspect inbound inventory for accuracy and completeness, defects, or notable damage and log/report discrepancies.
  4. Perform data entry, research, and documentation of receiving issues in government, program, or company database.
  5. Provide material handling coordination support to include shipping, receiving, storage, and disposition of property.
  6. Generate documentation and complete required forms for shipping to include Pro Forma, ITAR, and other shipping documents and labels such as those required for hazardous materials.
  7. Interact with vendors and other customers to obtain information, reconcile inventory discrepancies, prepare RMAs, and obtain EDD/ECD dates.
  8. Maintain control of spares and perform required inventories and audits.
  9. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, bins, or containers according to predetermined sequence.
  10. Interact and professionally exhibit customer service skills and be able to present a positive approach with customers and peers.
  11. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  1. 10+ years of related work experience.
  2. Secret clearance.
  3. BA/BS may substitute additional years of experience.
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of Excel & Microsoft software products.
  5. Comprehensive knowledge of logistics database systems.
  6. Comprehensive knowledge of IT equipment (routers, switches, thin clients, etc.).
  7. Comprehensive knowledge of shipping carriers; DHL, FedEx, and USPS.
  8. Ability to multi-task supporting requests with varying timeline requirements.
  9. Able to work with minimal supervision.
  10. Experience entering and manipulating information in asset management systems.
  11. Experience with completing hand receipts.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Able to lift 50 lbs or more.
  2. Experience processing DCS & Diplomatic Pouch shipments including knowledge of proper wrapping and forms creation.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  4. Proficient in shipping procedures/operations with various carriers and freight forwarders.
  5. Hazardous Material and/or Hazardous Waste Handling certificate; strongly desired.
