Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Al-Kuwait)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious Indian restaurant in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Indian cuisine, with a minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for Indian food in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus, ensuring the highest quality and standards are met
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of all dishes in accordance with recipes and plating guidelines
- Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff to maintain consistency and efficiency in food preparation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Manage food cost and labor cost to meet budget targets
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items based on market trends and customer feedback

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in upscale Indian restaurants
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and traditional cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and communicate with management
- Proven track record of managing food cost, labor cost, inventory levels, and overall kitchen operations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position.

This job is located in Al-Kuwait.

Nationality Preference:
Preference will be given to Indian candidates for this position.
