Marketing DirectorJob Description:

MARKETING DIRECTOR - F&B - Agency - QSR

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic communication plans that align with the company's vision and business objectives.
  2. Articulate brand stories and messaging frameworks that resonate with regional audiences, particularly in Kuwait.
  3. Go-To-Market Capabilities:
    1. Design and execute go-to-market strategies that accelerate product or service adoption in targeted markets.
    2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless market entry and sustained growth.
  4. Data Analysis & Growth Strategy:
    1. Analyse multi-channel data to derive actionable insights that inform marketing decisions.
    2. Present strategic growth visions to the CEO, based on a comprehensive understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviours.
  5. Corporate Communication Planning:
    1. Lead the development of corporate communication strategies that enhance the company's public image and reputation.
    2. Directly manage and oversee all aspects of communication campaigns, ensuring alignment with the brand's core values and objectives.
    3. Develop and implement reputation-building campaigns that promote corporate trust and credibility.
    4. Proactively address potential reputation-related challenges by crafting appropriate corporate messaging strategies (for external and HR employee relations matters).
  6. Agency Relationship Management:
    1. Cultivate strong partnerships with advertising, PR, and other relevant agencies.
    2. Ensure maximum ROI by effectively negotiating contracts, overseeing agency deliverables, and providing consistent feedback.
  7. Research Agency Management:
    1. Oversee collaborations with local and regional research agencies to gather market and consumer insights.
    2. Evaluate and refine research methodologies to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
  8. Consumer Insight Discovery:
    1. Direct research efforts towards uncovering deep consumer insights specific to the Kuwait and regional market.
    2. Translate insights into actionable marketing strategies that enhance the brand's connection with local and regional customers.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in a senior marketing role with a track record of successful strategic planning and execution for at least 10 years.
  2. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  3. Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing teams and external partnerships.
  4. Deep understanding of the Kuwait and regional market dynamics is a plus.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (experience at writing high-level strategic presentations).
  6. Experience in corporate communication and reputation management.
  7. Ability to effectively manage agency relationships to ensure optimal performance and value delivery.

Academic Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's in Marketing, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering, with a specialization in Marketing.
  2. MBA is a plus.
  3. Other qualifications/certifications in social media, advertisement, analytics, etc.
