Are you passionate about creating delightful pastries and desserts that leave a lasting impression? We're looking for a Commis I – Pastry to join our talented culinary team and help craft exceptional sweet experiences for our guests.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

Assisting in the preparation, baking, and presentation of high-quality pastries, breads, and desserts.

Following standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications consistently.

Ensuring that all mise en place is prepared on time and to the required standards before service.

Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen, adhering to hygiene and HACCP standards at all times.

Supporting senior chefs in developing new pastry items, seasonal menus, and special event displays.

Ensuring proper storage, labelling, and rotation of all ingredients to maintain freshness and reduce waste.

Collaborating with the main kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth and timely service.

Taking responsibility for assigned pastry sections and assisting in training junior team members.

What we need from you:

Previous experience in a similar role within a 4-star or 5-star hotel or reputed pastry kitchen.

Solid knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and decorative finishing.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Basic food safety and hygiene certification; HACCP knowledge is a plus.

A team-oriented attitude with a passion for learning and creativity.

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
