Do you have a passion for creating freshly baked breads and delightful pastries that make guests smile? We're looking for a Commis II – Pastry & Bakery to join our dynamic culinary team. You'll work alongside experienced chefs to craft high-quality baked goods and desserts while growing your skills in a professional kitchen environment.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

Assisting in the preparation and production of a wide variety of pastries, breads, desserts, and baked goods.

Following recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards accurately and consistently.

Preparing mise en place for the pastry and bakery sections as per daily requirements.

Supporting senior pastry chefs during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations.

Maintaining hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times in compliance with HACCP guidelines.

Handling ingredients, equipment, and tools carefully, ensuring proper storage and labeling.

Assisting in decorating cakes, plating desserts, and preparing buffet displays as instructed.

Demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques, recipes, and seasonal menu changes.

What we need from you:

1–2 years of relevant experience in a pastry or bakery kitchen, preferably within a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment.

Basic knowledge of pastry and bakery methods, including mixing, proofing, baking, and finishing.

Enthusiasm to learn from senior chefs and develop into higher roles.

Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Basic food hygiene certification; HACCP knowledge is a plus.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
