We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Development Manager to join our Ubuntu Release Engineering team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and continuous integration across our Ubuntu ecosystem and products. This includes monitoring indicators of quality, troubleshooting and resolving issues, enhancing continuous integration to guard Ubuntu image, release and package quality, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytical insights.

Requirements:

  • A strong software engineering background with experience in Linux, Python, Shell scripting, and C/C++.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience working with others to identify, isolate and resolve issues.
  • Experience with quality processes and continuous integration tools.
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment.
  • Familiarity with Debian/Ubuntu based operating systems and Debian packaging would be an advantage.
