Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Operations Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will utilize your extensive knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to wireline cased hole and open hole operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in daily operations and safety meetings, ensuring all issues are reported promptly using appropriate tools.
  • Maintain equipment, facilities, and work areas in a presentable and safe condition.
  • Monitor and analyze data to recommend services and solutions.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills to perform work processes according to role level experience and competence.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute jobs, submitting all job-related data within an acceptable timeframe.
  • Be available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs.
  • Test, operate, and maintain tools and equipment according to policies and procedures in safe working conditions.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Deliver superior service quality to clients.
  • Effectively manage inventory and supplies required at well sites.
  • Follow up on failures with the R&M team and ensure failure reports are closed.
  • Contribute to equipment failure investigations that support Root Cause Analysis reports.
  • Oversee, lead, and mentor Field Operation crew members as required.
  • Mentor junior engineers on best practices and procedures.
  • Act as technical advisors to management in senior level roles.
  • Perform engineering checks while on client location, including hand calculations and software updates.
  • Manage the installation of complex equipment and/or services in the field for senior level Field Specialists.
Required Skills
  • Fundamentals of Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics, and/or Hydraulics.
  • Mathematics, including Mathematical Reasoning.
  • Basic Physics and Chemistry.
  • Critical Thinking, Active Learning & Listening, Complex Problem Solving.
  • Good Reading and Writing Skills.
  • Strong Judgment and Decision-Making aligned with Policies & Procedures.

  • Quality Control Analysis to ensure products meet required standards.

  • Spatial Awareness: ability to visualize tools and products for assembly, repair, or modification.
  • Experience with 10k PCE Equipment.
  • Proficient in Fishing Operations.
  • Knowledge of PCL or Tool Push operations.
  • Experience in Rigless Operations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Engineer in Wireline (OH or CH).
