Strategic Merchandise Leadership Role

The ideal candidate will drive informed trading decisions through a systematic approach to merchandising, forward planning, stock management, treasury analysis, and supply chain optimization.

This role involves developing and executing merchandise plans, managing open-to-buy budgets, and overseeing allocations, replenishments, and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute merchandise strategies to drive business growth.
  • Leverage expertise in retail merchandising to inform strategic decisions.
  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of merchandise strategies.
  • Lead and motivate a team of merchandising professionals to achieve sales goals and exceed customer expectations.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a senior role, preferably in a retail environment.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of retail merchandising experience, with a proven track record of success.
  3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  4. Prior experience of managing a team of merchandising professionals, with a focus on leadership, development, and performance management.
