**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Pass and ID Clerk. This role involves operating the Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS) and performing various duties related to installation access programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for granting installation access badges, receiving and relaying communication, reviewing access applications, and maintaining DBIDS equipment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Grant installation access badges to authorized personnel.
  • Receive and relay important communications in a timely manner.
  • Review installation access applications according to established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of access approvals and denials.
  • Perform routine maintenance on DBIDS equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of Microsoft Office and computer systems. Prior experience with DBIDS is a plus, and deployed Southwest Asia experience is preferred.

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including temperatures exceeding 120°F. The successful candidate must be capable of working in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.

Physical Requirements

This role involves light physical activity, including lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in some situations.
