Job Description

This position is responsible for performing all Desk Operations functions in support of LOGCAP, ensuring timely and effective response to accidents or incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch initial response to accidents or incidents, providing emergency notifications according to the notification matrix provided by the USG.
  • Coordinate with the US Army Crimes Record Center (CRC) for the submission of Military Police Reports (MPRs).
  • Monitor IDS and CCTVs, recording responses to accidents and incidents.
  • Record incidents and offenses occurring in a 24-hour period in the Computer Aided Dispatch System (CAD) and applicable DA Forms.
  • Prepare and submit complete reports of security breaches, violations of administrative regulations, or special instructions.
  • Answer emergency and non-emergency phone calls, prioritizing and documenting in the CAD system.
  • Provide emergency notifications and monitor communication channels with Law enforcement and dispatch appropriate response during emergencies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radio transmission, broadcasting, control, and operation of telecommunication systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma; an AA or BA/BS degree is preferred.
  • Be a US Citizen, at least 21 years of age, and have a valid US Driver's License.
  • Meet United States Government (USG) security requirements and possess Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Have a typing speed of 35 wpm or more and one year of specialized experience in dispatching emergency and/or non-emergency services.
