Data Quality and Security Expert

We are seeking a Data Quality and Security Expert to join our team. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining an internal data catalog with automated data labeling and quality metrics, as well as performing access management and ensuring data security best practices.

The successful candidate will have experience with data quality, governance, and security processes and tools, as well as software development in Python and SQL.

The key objectives of this role are:

  1. To develop and maintain an internal data catalog with automated data labeling and quality metrics
  2. To perform access management and ensure data security best practices
  3. To define, monitor, and execute data governance policies
  4. To design, implement, and maintain data labeling and quality metrics
  5. To deploy and operate services developed by the team
  6. To coach, mentor, and offer career development feedback
  7. To develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices

The requirements for this role include:

  • Exceptional academic track record
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or alternative chosen path
  • Track record of going above-and-beyond expectations
  • Experience with data quality, governance, and security processes and tools
  • Experience with software development in Python and SQL
  • Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
  • Result-oriented with a personal drive to meet commitments

Nice-to-have skills include:

  • Performance engineering and security experience
