Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Systems unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security, quality, and compliance of our data assets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance policies, processes, standards, and monitoring. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining an internal data catalog with automated data labeling and quality metrics. Additionally, you will perform access management and ensure data security best practices.

In this role, you will work closely with the Data Governance team to enable secure and well-governed access to comprehensive data sets originating from multiple internal and external sources. You will define and execute data governance processes, and democratize data at Canonical. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative organization.

The Role Entails:
