Teaching Social Studies at Middle-High School Level

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced teacher to instruct social studies at the middle-high school level.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to join our team and play a key role in shaping the minds of young learners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of students.
  • Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations, utilizing computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment to enhance presentations.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs of students, promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
  • Foster a positive learning environment by establishing strong relationships with students and organizing resources and classroom space effectively.
  • Meet with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators to address behavioral or academic concerns.
  • Attend professional development workshops and educational conferences to stay updated on best practices and maintain professional competence.
  • Establish and enforce rules for class management and student behavior, ensuring a productive and respectful learning atmosphere.
  • Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate student progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies/History/Geography from a recognized university.
  • Teaching license from one of the following countries: UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, or Scandinavian countries.
  • Excellent English communication skills, as demonstrated by an IELTS score of 7.
  • Proven experience in teaching social studies at the middle-high school level, with a minimum of three years of experience.
  • Cultural sensitivity, dependability, flexibility, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
