Expert Cybersecurity Professionals Wanted

Cybersecurity experts are needed to support advanced operations in a banking/financial sector environment. The professionals will be deployed to monitor cyber threat intelligence, develop and distribute internal alerts, analyze emails and network traffic, and conduct security configuration reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor cyber threat intelligence from multiple sources and apply appropriate measures.
  • Develop and distribute internal cyber alerts to ensure timely notification of potential threats.
  • Analyze emails and network traffic for malicious activity and propose remediation strategies to prevent security breaches.
  • Conduct regular security configuration reviews of firewalls, IPS, routers, and network security devices to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor SIEM systems for anomalies and initiate remediation processes to address potential security risks.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of Cyber Threat Intelligence platforms to enhance threat detection capabilities.
  • Perform thorough security assessments across systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
  • Review changes to ensure alignment with established security policies and standards.
  • Handle incident response and contribute to daily security operations to maintain a secure environment.
  • Conduct ongoing research on new cyber threats and recommend actionable improvements to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Assess applications as part of the Change Management process to ensure they meet security requirements.
  • Provide cybersecurity input from project initiation to retirement to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
  • Manage access controls according to policy to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
  • Implement and maintain international standards such as ISO 27001 and BS 22301 to ensure global compliance.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to Kuwaiti nationals to enhance their skills and expertise.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, ECE, MIS, or a related field.
    • Mandatory certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCIE Security (or equivalent).
    • Product-specific certifications in firewalls, IPS, system administration, antivirus, etc.
    • In-depth knowledge of routing, switching, endpoint security, firewalls, mail/web security.
    • Hands-on experience with SIEM, IPS, EDR, AV, ATP, DLP, VPN, Sandbox, VMS, Filtering Solutions.
    • Strong experience in vulnerability assessment, application security, security operations, and compliance.
    • Ability to handle unplanned tasks and contribute to project teams from an InfoSec perspective.
    • Excellent command of emerging tech and cyber trends.

    Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum 15 years of total IT experience.
    • Minimum 10-12 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, preferably in banking/financial sectors.

    Language:

    • English: Fluent (reading, writing, speaking)
    • Arabic: Preferred

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong documentation and presentation capabilities.
    • Effective communicator and team player.
    • Ability to manage multiple security tasks and priorities.
