Job Summary

The Assistant Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely provision of contractually compliant equipment, drivers, and operators. This individual will provide operational logistics support to the Operations Manager and act as the Alternate Operations Manager in their absence.

Maintaining control of day-to-day project operations in Kuwait is essential. The successful candidate will utilize the project logistics staff as required to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily operations control of missions, assets, and base access.
  • Utilize FelixLive Tracking Platform to respond to USG location requests, delays, incidents, etc., related to assets deployed on mission.
  • Track missions via receipt of transport movement requests (TMRs).
  • Daily and as requested, update BMC/MCT on mission's in-transit visibility (ITV).
  • Daily – track missions via ITV and provide mission closure confirmation to BMC/MCT.
  • Provide incident reports for all serious delays impacting on-time delivery.
  • Monthly and as required, summarize mission reports via xls and PPT and assist the Operations Manager when presenting to customers (COR or Alt).
  • Prepare and process all heavy equipment (trucks &/or trailers) acceptance and cancellation transactions.
  • Provide monthly asset inventory – summary report to validate proof of delivery (POD) / invoicing.
  • Provide badging summary updates to the Operations Manager.
  • Manage all expiring driver and truck documentation due to expire within 30 days.
  • Assist with monthly audits of vendor staff and facilities to ensure compliance with company/international/contractual EH&S policies.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High school or GED required; associates or bachelor's degree desired.
  • Three years' experience in logistics or movement control work with U.S. military or similar.
  • Five years' experience in U.S. military logistical and movement control desired.
