Job Description

As a Support Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical support engineers. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing a professional support team, including skills development and performance management.
  • Ensuring that all customer cases are responded to within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and in a professional manner.
  • Acting as the customer escalation contact and ensuring that such escalations are addressed appropriately.
  • Accountability for customer satisfaction.
  • Contribution to the support knowledge base.
  • Continuous improvement to the team's processes and support service delivery.
  • Hiring, developing, and training support team members to match business requirements.
  • Working with the leadership team to drive growth and transformation initiatives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • Extensive experience with Linux at a technical level, including support, development, and implementation.
  • Leadership experience, preferably with team management.
  • Confidence under pressure, with a proven track record of high customer focus.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
