As a technical leader in our team, you will be responsible for guiding the development of cloud infrastructure and software delivery. Your primary focus will be on building and leading a team of engineers to design, test, and publish high-quality Ubuntu images for public cloud instances. We aim to deliver exceptional performance and security in cloud environments.

We work closely with major cloud providers to optimize Ubuntu for their infrastructure. This involves collaborating with teams at Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and other partners to ensure seamless integration and differentiation on each cloud platform.

Your role will require both technical expertise and management skills. You will need to mentor and develop your team members, ensuring they grow as engineers and contribute to the team's success. As a lead, you will be responsible for setting expectations with other engineering teams, management, and external stakeholders.

You will also be expected to lead modern agile software development practices, foster a healthy engineering culture, and contribute to the company's leadership team. Additionally, you will engage with various teams within the organization, as well as the open-source community and commercial partners.
