Finance Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to assume the role of Head of Finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management and operations of our organization, working closely with the executive team.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial leadership, including tax planning, compliance, treasury, and controllership. Strong knowledge of IFRS, EAS, Pillar Two, and Egypt's tax regulations is essential. Experience in managing tax assessments, resolving tax issues, and skilled in managing bank relationships, cash flow, and treasury functions will also be beneficial.

A strong leader with excellent communication and team management abilities, commercial acumen, analytical skills, and a continuous improvement mindset is required. Additionally, hands-on experience with key systems and tools, as well as data analysis and forecasting skills, will be an asset.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA in finance and accounting, with 15+ years of experience in the automotive industry. Knowledge of Egypt's tax, labor laws, central bank policies, and macroeconomic trends is highly desirable. Industry preference includes power solutions, distribution, heavy electricals, and trading.

About This Role
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee timely preparation of monthly MIS, P&L, balance sheet, KPIs, and other financial reports.
  • Revenue & Profit Management: Drive topline growth and cost-saving initiatives in collaboration with business heads.
  • Tax & Compliance: Lead tax planning and ensure compliance with Egypt's tax regulations, Pillar Two, and global standards.
  • Controllership: Ensure full control over accounting and preparation of statutory financials in compliance with IFRS and EAS standards.
  • Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and bank relationships, optimizing treasury functions and mitigating FX risk.
  • Audit & Regulatory Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain relationships with government authorities and consultants.
  • Operational Support: Provide financial guidance to operations, participate in business reviews, and drive cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, monitoring performance against financial and non-financial metrics.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: 15+ years of experience in finance leadership, including tax planning, compliance, treasury, and controllership.
