Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in providing top-tier support for virtualization technologies, including VMware ESXi, vCenter, vCOPS, vRealize, and SRM.

The ideal candidate will have experience with configuration and provisioning of VMs, ESXi hosts, and VCSAs, as well as proficiency in planning, installation, configuration, and upgrades of the virtual network infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide enterprise-level support for VMware virtualization technologies
  • Support escalated issues and complex projects
  • Daily monitoring of all enterprise virtualization for integrity, reliability, resource utilization, and availability
  • Generate periodic reports on virtual resource capacity and utilization, system uptime, performance, and troubleshooting/MTTR
  • Log review and issue reporting related to monitoring of temperature and overall virtualization health throughout the RCC-SWA AOR
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or MIS, IS, Engineering, or related field
  • IAT Level: IAT III
  • Candidate must possess baseline certifications such as Cisco CCNP Security, CompTIA CASP+ CE: Advanced Security Practitioner, GIAC GCED: Certified Enterprise Defender, and others
  • COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT (CE) certifications include Cisco and NetApp Flexpod Design Specialist, Cisco and NetApp Flexpod Implementation and Administration Specialist, NetApp Certified Data Administrator, and others
  • At least five years of practical experience working with various data (network and system) technologies
  • Candidate must have a working knowledge of server, storage, and desktop virtualization technologies
  • Experience with vSphere client, ESXCLI, and PowerCLI is essential
