Job Title: Kuwait Senior Database and Application Security SpecialistSalary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

This position offers a competitive salary, commensurate with experience.

Job DescriptionScope of Work:
  • Perform comprehensive audits and inspections of codes for vulnerabilities and bugs, ensuring prompt fixes are applied.
  • Analyze and inspect malware and unusual behavior/traffic using various tools, providing insights for informed decisions.
  • Monitor, track, operate, and maintain different security appliances, reporting critical findings and recommendations to management.

We require a skilled professional to conduct penetration tests, assessing the security posture of local and published applications. The ideal candidate will prepare and submit frequent security reports to team members and management, outlining mitigation strategies and enhancements.

Frequently Assessed Responsibilities:
  • Conduct static and dynamic code inspections, identifying potential security risks.
  • Perform software security testing using tools and web application penetration techniques, simulating real-world scenarios.
  • Conduct protocol, application, and malware code analysis, uncovering hidden threats.

The successful candidate will design and implement authentication schemes, ensuring secure access to systems and data. They will oversee secure software design and development, enforcing robust security policies and procedures throughout the development life cycle.

Key Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in application architecture and software development skills on the Microsoft platform.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in database and application security, with a focus on vulnerability assessments and secure database baselines.
  • Expert/certified in Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle (SDL), OWASP Software Assurance Maturity Model (SAMM), or Building Security in Maturity Model (BSIMM).
