Food Scientist and Technologist

Job Summary

Farmafood Foodstuffs trading co seeks a highly skilled Food Scientist and Technologist to develop and launch new food products that meet consumer demands.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new food products from conceptualization to launch, working closely with marketing and production teams.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and analyze product data to improve product quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with health regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate product specifications and technical documentation.
  • Manage multiple product development projects to guarantee timely completion.
Requirements
  1. A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary Science, or a related field is required.
  2. Residency in Kuwait is mandatory for this role.
  3. Transferable residency is necessary for expats.
  4. Proficiency in English and Arabic (reading and writing) is essential.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  6. Familiarity with industry practices and trends in food product development is required.
  7. A minimum of 5 years of experience in food product development is necessary.
