College Admissions Recruiter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced College Admissions Recruiter to join our team at American University of Kuwait. As a key member of our admissions department, you will be responsible for handling all external student recruitment, prospect marketing initiatives, and admitting students into the appropriate level at AUK.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with prospective students, their parents, high school counselors, and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing relationships with prospective students and their families, building trust and confidence in our university, and encouraging them to apply.
Your duties will include managing prospective student data collection and entry into our database, identifying the correct admission categories for applicants, and ensuring that all students meet our admission criteria. You will also be responsible for generating admission letters and communication pieces, running queries to ensure quality control functions, and initiating the Transfer Credit Evaluation process for transfer applicants.
As a College Admissions Recruiter, you will play a critical role in achieving our university's admission targets while meeting all Private Universities Council requirements. You will collaborate closely with members of our Office of the Registrar and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with MS Office software and an understanding of integrated information systems. Experience in college/university admissions or recruitment is highly desirable. The salary for this position is around $45,000 per year.
